Coins Rate is a reading website. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or payment details to read anything.

What we store in your browser

We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember a few settings on your device only. Nothing here is sent to us.

You can delete all of these at any time in your browser's site settings.

Analytics

When you first visit, a notice asks whether we may use analytics. Analytics is not active at present. If we add a service such as Google Analytics, it will only run after you select "Accept analytics", and this page will name the provider and the cookies it sets. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Market data

Coin prices and charts are loaded from our own server, which fetches them from CoinGecko. Your browser does not contact CoinGecko, and no personal information is passed on.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting server records basic technical information about each request, such as the IP address, browser type, page requested and time. These logs are used for security and to fix errors, not for advertising or profiling.

Third-party sites

Promotions on Coins Rate link to third-party sites. Once you follow such a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
