How we research, write, and update our cryptocurrency coverage.
Coins Rate publishes coin profiles, guides, and news about cryptocurrency. Our goal is simple: explain how things work, in plain language, so readers can make their own decisions. Our content is educational. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Accuracy and sources
We base our coverage on reliable sources, such as official project documentation, official announcements, block explorers, and records from regulators and courts. When a claim comes only from the project itself, we say so. We do not publish invented figures, quotes, or events.
When a number matters, we explain what it measures and give the date it applies to. Live prices and market figures on our coin pages come from a third-party market data provider and can change at any moment.
Independence
We do not accept payment to publish, change, or remove editorial content. Having a profile on Coins Rate does not mean we recommend or endorse a project. Advertising is kept separate from editorial content and is clearly presented as a promotion. Details are in our advertising disclosure.
No predictions or promises
We do not make price predictions, promise returns, or tell readers what to buy or sell. Cryptocurrency is risky, and we explain the main risks alongside the features of each project. Please read our risk disclaimer.
Keeping content up to date
Cryptocurrency changes quickly. We review and update our pages when projects, rules, or markets change. Each page shows its publication date, and an updated date when the content has changed in a meaningful way.
Images
Our featured images are illustrations. They are not photos, screenshots, or charts of real data.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page and include the page title. We correct mistakes promptly, as explained in our corrections policy.
